About Shenai

Shenai Johnston was raised in the small farming community of Ongerup, Western Australia. Growing up on a small farm south of Ongerup with her parents and two sisters, Shenai has been singing for as long as she can remember. Some of her first memories as a child are taking her battery powered CD player out into the paddock to blast Shania Twain’s “Come On Over“ album and singing at the top of her lungs. Back then, Shenai would sing wherever she could whether it be at school or community events, she was always well known for her vocal ability from a very young age. Singing is a skill that has always come naturally to Shenai, and for many years she has been wowing audiences with her voice and acoustic guitar. Today, Shenai is establishing her place as a singer songwriter in Country Music. Heading to Nashville, Tennessee to record her first EP in March, listeners can look forward to a taste of whats to come as she takes you on a journey about relationships, family and her love for living in the country. Her true passion is telling stories through song, and creating intimate and memorable occasions through her performances. Shenai lives in Boyup Brook, Western Australia with her husband and three children.
